More Christmas 2010

So, I am sitting here thinking how full my life is and these little faces pop into my head. what is amazing, is that Mya isn't smiling and Dorian is! Love the matching outfits too! This picture, taken on Christmas day, 2010, was at my mom's house in Missouri.












I love this next one, because I see the "little mommy" in Jordan's face. All the presents in the background were fun too. I can't believe we packed so much into such a small space.

Well, Courtney has created such a great blog, I decided to try to follow her footsteps. I had a great Christmas, despite the fact that it was in a hotel room. I loved having my kids and grandkids with me. The proof is in the pictures. This one was after everyone was tired and cranky. The room was so hot, we couldn't think. Jordan, on the left, had to leave the next morning to fly to Georgia, so we packed in all the time we could.

Well, the summer is nearly over and I have to be back on campus tomorrow. I will be sad to see the summer end. I love the sunshine and warm weather. Although from this picture, it looks like guarding in the rain is the norm. IT ISN'T! There were nearly 30 people in the water when this pic was taken.

Water!

I walked into my office yesterday and found my feet made a "squeesh, squeesh" as I walked to my desk.  Yes, the carpet was covered in water.  Only the two  side walls were relatively dry.  The janitor sucked out 3 buckets of water and set a fan down to help dry.  Well, I came back from teaching at 3:30 and OMG the smell was like a dirty wet dog!  I am gone for a week and believe my office will be uninhabitable when I return.   What do you think?

Trying to stay current

Well, Hello Courtney and anybody else who might read this.  Probably only Court.

I am finished teaching lifeguarding for another week.  I love teaching, it is just so time consuming. I only wish I could lose some weight doing it!  Well, I am off to Atlanta tomorrow.  I sure hope I can find some time to grade while there.  And I hope God will bless my socks off too.  I saw Dorian on campus yesterday.  He was with Tiff in class.  I teach next to her class, so I often see him when she has to bring him with her.  He was covered in animal cracker goo.  So cute!  Well, I guess that is all for now.  I will try to add pictures, but I am not sure I remember how.

Okay, I remembered.  This is my newest pic of my grandchildren.  Well, Dorian.  All my newest pics of Mya you have on your blog.  He is just so happy here, huh?

Number 2

Well, it is beginning to look like spring is around the corner.  I can't wait to have my grandkids for Easter.  As you can see they are a great looking bunch of kids! What fun!  

Jordan has new braces.  She is kinda proud of those!  I can't wait to see her straight teeth!  

She told me last week, when we took her to dinner, that if I get something in my teeth, I should excuse myself and go to the bathroom to remove it.  Oh my, she is quite the little miss etiquette!  

Well, I am busy with aquatics and looking forward to the extra money.  I have already had a mom call because her son did not pass pre-course for lifeguarding... ugh.

I want to start decorating the walls in the house but don't know where to start... don't have a theme... don't have a clue.  Any help from a friend???? No, seriously!

My First Blog!

Well, Courtney, I finally did it.  This is a blog, which I will probably not keep up with, but I am blogging, none-the-less!  I don't have much to say, really.  Jay and I are going to get our taxes done this afternoon and we are hoping not to owe!

Then I have Kidstuf meetings tonight.  Well, I will tell more about us and what we are up to later......
